Free from - The little celiac guide
This zine was part of my final major project for Visual Communications and Design at UAL. This project stems from personal experience, being recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease myself I often found it hard to navigate social situations, especially in the beginning. I was lacking experience and knowledge on the topic, I often found it challenging to attend gatherings with friends and not be able to eat, or needing to plan meals ahead. The aim of this zine is to make living with Celiac Disease a little more fun, providing fellow Celiacs with the basic insights on the disease, as well as providing intriguing gluten free recipes.
The data gathered throughout the publication has been collected thanks to many Celiac questionnaire participants making it interactive and providing great feedback. The zine has been printed on a Risograph Machine making every printed copy unique to another with different tonalities and misregistrations and textures.
